The Bingley Bonfire, an iconic part of Bingley life, was started some 40 years ago by Bingley Round Table, followed by Baildon & District Round Table and is now run by Bingley Bonfire Ltd in association with the Rotary Club of Bingley Airedale. It is now one of the largest firework displays in the area.

Last year's annual Firework Extravaganza once again took place in Myrtle Park, Bingley on Saturday 6th November.  The 40 year old event was supported by the Rotary Club of Bingley Airedale and was yet another dazzling success. A wonderful clear day turned into a crisp evening, perfect for bonfires and fireworks. With record gate receipts, the event was testimony to the hard work that everyone had put into it.
